Some new business in Wrexham meant I could kill two birds with one stone. I rang Pete up and told him I would be there for Saturday tea time with a bag full of steaks. A perfect run in the car meant I arrived in Holyhead for an amazing sunset. After the food came beers and after the beers came skullduggery but we will not talk about such shenanigans.
On Sunday we down to Porthdafarch beach before heading off into the hills. A quick geography lesson from Pete and we were heading to Snowdonia National Park. The route included 3 of the Welsh 3000ft mountains and a ridge walk. The weather was perfect and I am not going to bore myself with words. The pictures tell the story, and they are some of the best I have taken.
Ohh 3 mountains bagged…Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llewlyn and Yr Elen. Route distance 15.5km and 1120m of ascent.
