Hi
Really good website – so thanks for an honest read!
Myself and a group of mates are going to attempt our first walk (have plumped for the wolds way).
Just wondered if you had any advice for some first timers – we are planning to do it over 4 days like yourselves.
Anything to avoid?
Cheers
Rich

4 days is perfect if you used to a long day (20+) and then following it up the next day. I suggest you do the another local walk The Beverely 20 (google it) as a training walk and then see how you feel.
A long first day gets your well away from the Humber and into the countryside and gives you some miles to play with if needed.
The Wolds Inn – Huggate is a great pub, we camped there in the beer garden. Great chap who runs the place. Food was very good.
I would do it in the summer as we missed out on all the colours of summer.
